Old Town - 900 m

Square Marketplace in Poznań (folk name Old Marketplace) in the Old Town, marked out about 1253.

The city has been centrally located. The side length amounts to circa 141 m. From each side there are three streets going out, two of them starting from the corner. Each of the frontages was divided into 16 equal parts. In the central point of the city there are: a town hall, a weigh house, a cloth hall, stalls, bread stalls, butchery, and later also an arsenal and a guardroom. It's third largest market square in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. They say this Old Town is one of the most beautiful ones in Poland.
